RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Rental Terms & Conditions apply to all rentals of cash counting equipment supplied by Cash Counter Rental.

By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

1. Rental Equipment

The rented cash counting equipment remains the property of Cash Counter Rental at all times.

The Customer receives the equipment solely for temporary use during the agreed rental period and does not acquire any ownership rights over the equipment.

The Customer is responsible for the proper use, care and safekeeping of the equipment throughout the rental period.

2. Rental Period

The standard rental period is two (2) consecutive days.

The rental period begins on the agreed rental date and ends on the agreed return date and return time confirmed by Cash Counter Rental.

The two rental days must be used consecutively and cannot be split into separate days.

Any extension of the rental period must be requested and approved by Cash Counter Rental in advance and may be subject to additional rental charges.

3. Rental Price

The standard rental price is €149 for two (2) consecutive days.

The rental price must be paid in full before the equipment is handed over or delivered, unless otherwise agreed by Cash Counter Rental.

The rental price covers only the agreed rental period.

Additional rental days, where approved, may incur additional charges.

4. Security Deposit

A €500 refundable security deposit is required for every rental.

The security deposit is separate from the rental price and is intended to protect Cash Counter Rental against loss, theft, damage, missing accessories, late returns or other amounts owed by the Customer.

The security deposit may be handled as a temporary authorization or hold on the Customer’s payment card.

The security deposit will not normally be charged if the equipment is returned on time, complete and in good working condition.

After the equipment has been returned and inspected, the authorization will be released where no amount is owed.

The time required for the funds to become available again may depend on the Customer’s card issuer or bank.

If an amount is owed under these terms, Cash Counter Rental may charge all or part of the security deposit to cover the applicable costs.

If the costs exceed the €500 security deposit, the Customer remains responsible for paying the outstanding amount.

5. Delivery and Collection

Where delivery is offered, the equipment will be delivered to the agreed address provided by the Customer.

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that someone is available to receive the equipment where required.

Where collection or return is arranged, the Customer must make the equipment available at the agreed location and time.

Cash Counter Rental is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information, lack of access or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

6. Customer Responsibility

The Customer is responsible for the equipment from the moment it is handed over or delivered until it has been physically returned to Cash Counter Rental.

The Customer must:

  • Keep the equipment in a safe and secure location.

  • Protect it from theft, loss, water, excessive moisture, heat and other avoidable damage.

  • Use the equipment only for its intended purpose.

  • Follow all operating instructions provided.

  • Take reasonable care when transporting or handling the equipment.

  • Ensure that unauthorized persons do not use or interfere with the equipment.

7. Damage, Loss or Theft

The Customer must immediately notify Cash Counter Rental if the equipment is damaged, lost, stolen or becomes defective during the rental period.

The Customer must not attempt to repair, dismantle or modify the equipment without prior authorization.

The Customer may be responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs resulting from damage, loss or theft caused by misuse, negligence, accident or failure to properly safeguard the equipment.

Where appropriate, these costs may be deducted from the security deposit.

If the equipment is stolen or not returned, the Customer may be responsible for the replacement cost of the equipment.

8. Proper Use

The equipment must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with the operating instructions.

The Customer must not:

  • Open or dismantle the equipment.

  • Modify or alter the equipment.

  • Attempt unauthorized repairs.

  • Sublet, resell or transfer the equipment to another person.

  • Use the equipment for any unlawful purpose.

  • Allow unauthorized third parties to interfere with the equipment.

  • Use the equipment in conditions that may reasonably cause damage.

9. Return of Equipment

The equipment must be returned on the agreed date, at the agreed return time and at the agreed return location.

All accessories, cables, components and other items supplied with the equipment must be returned.

The Customer remains responsible for the equipment until it has been physically returned to Cash Counter Rental.

Cash Counter Rental reserves the right to inspect the equipment after its return before releasing the security deposit.

10. Late Returns

A one (1) hour grace period applies after the agreed return time.

After the grace period, a €99 late-return charge per commenced 24-hour period may apply until the equipment is returned.

Additional costs or losses caused by the late return may also be charged where applicable.

Any extension of the rental period must be approved in advance by Cash Counter Rental.

11. Equipment Inspection

The equipment is inspected before being supplied to the Customer.

The Customer should notify Cash Counter Rental immediately of any visible damage or problem identified upon receiving the equipment.

Any pre-existing damage recorded by Cash Counter Rental will not be charged to the Customer.

12. Cancellation

Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible.

Any refund or cancellation rights will be subject to the cancellation policy applicable to the booking and any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

13. Liability

Cash Counter Rental will take reasonable care to provide equipment that is in proper working condition.

Cash Counter Rental is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profits, business interruption or other consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use the equipment, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is suitable for their intended use.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Customer Information

The Customer agrees to provide accurate information necessary to process the rental, including contact, delivery and identification information where required.
